Toni Storm vs. Jordynne Grace for the first time, twice in two days

December is a time for caring, sharing and generosity, and the UK wrestling scene has certainly taken that to heart by giving us a match so good that we need it twice: Toni Storm vs. Jordynne Grace.

If you ever needed a reason to watch PROGRESS Wrestling, then Jim, Jon and Glen have provided it by giving us this absolute gem of a match. On Dec 9th in Sheffield, England we will be treated to Toni Storm vs. Jordynne Grace.

It will be the second time in as many days these competitors will have faced each other – the first being Pro Wrestling EVE’s SHEvivor Series on Dec. 8th, in London.

Despite the same match taking place twice over the space of two days for two separate promotions, both matches while have a certain, special twist attached to them.

The EVE show will be the first time they have met one-on-one in the ring, and judging by their phenomenal performances this year, the match is gearing up to be something special.

In their second match of the weekend, it will be a matter of veteran vs. newcomer, as Storm, a former PROGRESS Women’s Champion, takes on Grace, who is making only her second appearance for the trend setting promotion, and could be a “passing of the torch”, if you will.

Both wrestlers have had an amazing 2018, and are featured in our Superstar women to watch in 2019, so seems only right that they finish the year in style.

At the time of writing, there were a few tickets remaining for both shows, but fans not able to make it to the events can watch them on their respective On-Demand services, starting shortly after the event’s end. Check here for EVE and PROGRESS.

Hard to believe some say UK indie wrestling is in trouble.
