Top ten women’s WrestleMania matches

In the last five years, the WWE women’s division has grown leaps and bounds from the way it used to be presented. The drastic change in the impact and quality of their appearances at the company’s biggest event of the year, WrestleMania, is a definite indication.

WrestleMania 35 is this Sunday and it will feature the biggest women’s storyline in the history of the event. Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch will make history as the first women to headline The Showcase of the Immortals.

It’s a seminal moment for WWE and all the talent who’ve worked to legitimize women’s wrestling over the years. To tell the truth, the journey to this point has been filled with highs but there have been just as many excruciating lows.

There wasn’t a women’s match on seven WrestleMania cards, while other times they were the shortest match of the night. Then there were the more embarrassing moments like the Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal.

That said, there have been some monumental women’s matches on The Grandest Stage of Them All too. Here’s our list of the ten best women’s matches in WrestleMania history.
