WWE has officially announced that Trish Stratus will be appearing on this week’s upcoming SmackDown Live. The event will take place from Memphis, Tenn. She will be appearing on the return of Jerry Lawler’s interview segment, King’s Court from his hometown.
There have been previous rumors circulating from Pro Wrestling Sheet that Stratus is in the plans to face Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam. Flair declared in a backstage segment last week that she wants a match at the biggest event of the summer. She is determined to prove that she is the best female wrestler of all time.
Stratus last appeared for the company during the Evolution pay-per-view in October. Her and Lita defeated Mickie James and Alicia Fox.
Lawler first announced this on his Twitter account prior to WWE making it official.
