AJ Lee is returning to the limelight for the first time since her WWE departure in a high profile ad for Madden NFL 16.
The short film casts AJ as a kidnapping victim who can only be saved if her boyfriend (played by Dave Franco) defeats her kidnapper (played by Rob Gronkowski) in Madden NFL 16.
Franco recruits a ragtag team of characters played by Gronkowski, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Julio Jones, Colin Kaepernick, Antonio Brown and Rex Ryan to train him in the game and help him save AJ.
In classic AJ fashion, there’s a twist to the story, so Diva fans are advised to watch the ad all the way to the end.

Madden NFL 16 will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on August 25th.
