Willow Nightingale reportedly wrapping up with MLW

Willow Nightingale has become one of the biggest breakout indie stars of 2021. Despite being in the wrestling scene for six years and having many trials and tribulations along the way, her work over the course of the year has certainly been a highlight.

Other than working with indie companies, Nightingale has been seen with AEW, ROH, and most recently MLW. According to a new report from Fightful Select, sources within MLW have spoken to them and given high praise of Willow’s time there. They believe that she’s gained interest from other companies and full-time contracted work is on the horizon for her.

Nightingale has been heavily featured with MLW since the launch of its Featherweight Women’s Division and has been in a recent rivalry with Holidead. The two battled at the recent War Chamber tapings. With the launch of the women’s division in MLW, Nightingale has been approached as well for an upcoming tournament to crown the first champion. With the recent news on her perhaps wrapping up with the company it is unsure where this will lead. At this time, MLW nor Willow has commented on her moving on from the company.

Fightful adds that Holidead has recently formed a group with Arez and the two are reportedly heading for a push in the company.

When the company first confirmed the MLW Featherweight Division back in September, Willow clarified that she was not signed, just working with as many opportunities that were opening the doors for her.

Willow appeared on ROH’s Women’s Division Wednesday this week teaming with Trish Adora. They faced Vita VonStarr & Gia Scott. You can view the match below.
