The Women of Wrestling Podcast is a brand new audio show bringing you closer to your favourite female wrestlers. In each episode, our hosts Stew Allen and Lee Burton will be joined by special guests from WWE, TNA, SHIMMER et al to discuss their careers, tell road stories — and just have a rockin’ good time in general!
You’ll come for the guests but you’ll stay for the witty banter between Stew and Lee, two very passionate women’s wrestling fans with a fun, humorous interviewing style.

Episode 2: Portia Perez
On the show, the Anarchy Pro-Wrestling American Joshi champion and one half of the SHIMMER Tag Team Champs talks about her recent transition into the broadcast booth, early experiences in wrestling, her international travelling experiences, having Social Services called by her teacher at school, the positives & negatives of her look and gimmick, her tag team with Nicole Matthews, her aspirations and thoughts with regards to the TNA Knockouts division and the WWE Divas division, and even divulges the secret significance of the pink bandana~!

Episode 3: Jackie Haas
Jackie may have had an abbreviated career, but it was an eventful run. Here she talks about winning Tough Enough 2, that match on Raw, Ohio Valley Wrestling, Rico, love and marriage with Charlie, her run in TNA (just where was that blackmail angle going?), returning to WWE for the WrestleMania battle royal, family, friends and the future.

Episode 5: Jetta
“Coventry’s Loudest” recently announced her retirement from wrestling at the age of just 22, and you’ll find out why in her farewell interview. We also talk injuries, Jezebel, ChickFight, SHIMMER, International Home Wrecking Crew shenanigans, the state of women’s wrestling in Britain and this coming weekend’s Pro-Wrestling: EVE show, where she’s scheduled to wrestle new WWE developmental signing Jemma Palmer (aka Gladiator Inferno) in her debut match. Stew and Lee also discuss in-depth the news coming out of last month’s SHIMMER tapings, including who really made an impression.

Episode 6: Jemma Palmer
Jemma was kind enough to give us some time, and we had a chance to ask her about her WWE developmental deal, her training, visa issues, ambitions, and her thoughts after having her very first match. We also had unscheduled visits at the recording table by promoter Dann Read, who broke down some of his thoughts on the show, not to mention the evening’s main eventer, Sweet Saraya, fresh off an absolutely brutal hardcore war with Greece’s Blue Nikita.
