According to e-mails I received from a few readers, there will be a series of champion vs champion matches taking place on SmackDown’s debut show on MyNetworkTV on October 3rd. WWE aired a promo package on Raw last night to that affect, though I didn’t see it because I don’t live in the States. If this is true, expect to see the Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix taking on the Divas Champion, Michelle McCool on SmackDown’s inaugural broadcast for the network! Excitement!
