Live results will appear below.

Su Yung defeats Amanda Rodriguez. Justine Silver announced on Twitter shortly before the show that she had been rushed to hospital, so Yung’s scheduled opponent KC Cassidy would be replacing her against Rhia O’Reilly and Rodriguez was drafted in to fight Yung, pulling backup duty for the second month in a row. This match was all about Yung and the weird, possessed attitude she has adopted in recent months, acting upon the whims of Valkyrie enforcer April Hunter. Rodriguez put in a good effort for a last-minute scheduling, but Yung picked up a quick victory in the end taking out Rodriguez with The Purge.

Rhia O’Reilly defeats KC Cassidy. This was Cassidy’s first SHINE appearance, and she impressed hugely, catching O’Reilly off guard several times in the early stages of the match with her speed and getting under her skin. O’Reilly was great in the match too, getting the win after about eight minutes with a brutal-looking spike DDT, but Cassidy came out of the match having turned a lot of heads.

La Rosa Negra defeated Thunderkitty. Another great match, that saw Thunderkitty and her enforcer Leilani Kai do everything in their power to pull off a sneaky win, but ended up with Rosa countering TK’s whip into Kai’s knee, and following up with a huge splash off the top rope for the three-count.

Valifornia (Nevaeh, Marti Belle and Jayme Jameson) defeated Mia Yim, Leva Bates and Kellie Skater. A perfect start for SHINE’s newest stable, led by SoCal Val, getting the win over the faces in a fun, fast-paced spotfest. The face team were dressed in some sort of zombie killer gimmick that went over my head like everything Leva Bates ever dresses up as, but it was cool nonetheless. Nevaeh got the win for the team in the end with a belly-to-back suplex on Mia Yim.

Taylor Made defeated Nikki Storm. SoCal Val was on commentary for the duration of the match, which, while immensely entertaining (she’s one of the best promos in women’s wrestling), kind of took away from the match as it left little for Lenny to contribute on play-by-play. It was a decent match though, with Storm continuing to show why she’s one of the most must-see wrestlers in the world and Taylor Made getting another impressive performance in, picking up the win to keep building momentum.

Leah Von Dutch defeated Saraya Knight by disqualification. Von Dutch’s mission to conquer the “dinosaurs” of women’s wrestling continues. Saraya was her usual self, unleashing a torrent of damage to her opponent, but LVD kept strong and held her own throughout. In the end, however, Saraya made it easy for Von Dutch, directing a low blow straight at referee Frankie Gastineau, who called for the bell, disqualifying Saraya and handing the victory to LVD.

Malia Hosaka and Brandi Wine defeat Solo Darling and Heidi Lovelace to retain the SHINE Tag Team Championships. A superb performance from the challengers, with the heels keeping Heidi in their corner for the majority of the match before Solo Darling got the hot tag. In the end, it was BTY (Marti Belle and Jayme Jameson) who were responsible for the finish, cornering Lovelace and Daffney at ringside, while Hosaka distracted the referee allowing Thunderkitty to interfere, helping Brandi Wine to hit a double-team finisher on Solo to retain the titles.

Allysin Kay defeated Evie. A return to winning ways for Kay, but it wasn’t easy. Both women traded stiff blows throughout, with Evie’s kicks impressing as always. Evie got a couple of extremely close near-falls, but Kay would be victorious in the end with a discus lariat.

Ivelisse defeated Madison Eagles to retain the SHINE Championship. Eagles put up exactly the kind of fight one would expect from a wrestler of her calibre, withstanding three separate guillotine chokes before finally passing out. After the match, Lenny Leonard came to the ring to interview Ivelisse, some of the wrestlers who will be going on the WWN tour of China came out, before SoCal Val came out with Nevaeh and berated the lot of them, before announcing that Nevaeh will have a title shot at the next show against whoever is champion when they return from China.

That;s it for tonight. Come back tomorrow for a full review!
