Dana Brooke is once again 24/7 Champion AND retained it against Becky Lynch on the June 6 edition of Raw. The fallout from Hell in a Cell is upon us and will take place on tonight’s Raw. Bianca Belair is still the Raw Women’s Champion after battling both Becky Lynch and Asuka in one barn burner of a match to open the event on Sunday. Belair would pin Asuka to retain after dumping Lynch out … Read more

Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match Set For Hell in a Cell

On the May 30 episode of Raw, a six-person mixed tag team bout was added for this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell premium live event.

Ever since Rhea Ripley turned her back on Liv Morgan and subsequently joined The Judgment Day, the two women have been at each other’s throats with Ripley constantly coming out on top. At Hell in a Cell, Ripley will join her Judgment Day partners Damian Priest and Edge to face Morgan, AJ Styles, and Finn Balor.

On this week’s go-home episode of Raw, Morgan faced Ripley in singles action. Once again, Morgan found herself going up against the strength of Ripley that cannot be matched. Halfway through the match, Priest would make his way out to ringside for Ripley while Styles joined Morgan to even the numbers.

The final moments of the match were almost dejavu from what happened a few weeks ago. Much as Edge did to help Ripley get a win over Morgan on May 9, Priest caught Morgan in the ropes during ObLIVion. Ripley attempted to stack Morgan up for the win, but this time she kicked out.

As Styles was dealing with Priest on the outside for interfering, Morgan escaped a Riptide and stacked up Ripley to get the victory. This was a much-needed win for Morgan and her team heading into Hell in a Cell.

Post-match, Priest took out Styles on the outside and then turned his focus to Morgan who was yelling at him in the ring. As Priest targeted Morgan, Balor would emerge making the save. Morgan and company would finish the segment strong as they continued to beat down both Ripley and Priest. Edge did not appear.

It appears that all the matches on Hell in a Cell have been from the Raw brand so it is unlikely more women’s matches will be added.

Hell in a Cell – June 4

Lynch will respond to what happened to her last week on the upcoming May 23 Raw. The official WWE.com preview reads as follows:

Becky Lynch’s inspirational rise back to the Raw Women’s Championship took a major detour last week when Asuka surprised Big Time Becks by spraying green mist in her face and rolling her up for the pin to earn a title opportunity against Bianca Belair at Hell in a Cell.

How will Lynch respond after having her title hopes go up in mist at the hands of The Empress of Tomorrow?
