Tonight is the first Friday Night SmackDown since the two night show of WrestleMania. The team of Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have become the first ever two time Women’s Tag Team Champions! Bliss delivered not one, but two Twisted Bliss’ to the Kabuki Warriors claiming her and Cross’ spot as the new champs.
Tonight there is a rematch between the two rivals and with Asuka picking up a win on RAW, Bliss & Cross better hope that the wins don’t continue to rack up.
Also at WrestleMania, Bayley retained her SmackDown Women’s Championship by defending four other woman from the blue brand. Lacey Evans was the last in contention with Bayley and was mere moments away from winning her first championship.
Sasha Banks had something to say about that however. She would re-enter the ring after being eliminated to hit a back stabber on the Southern Sassy Belle. This allowed Bayley to get the pin to continue her longest reign.
What fallout will we see from the once thick as thieves Fire & Desire? Mandy Rose took matters into her own hands at WrestleMania, helping Otis defeat Dolph Ziggler. In the process she attacked her former friend Sonya Deville after finding out that it was Deville who interfered in her date with Otis.
