Nikki Bella pulls double duty on week two of Dancing with the Stars

Last week, Nikki Bella made her Dancing with the Stars debut during the series’ 25th season premiere. Alongside her pro dance partner Artem Chigvintsev, the pair scored 20 points out of 30 for their tango dance routine to Pink’s “So What”.

This week, the Dancing with the Stars cast pulled double duty during the show’s two consecutive nights event. First on Monday night, Nikki and Artem danced the Waltz to “Come away with me” by Norah Jones. They scored 21 points out of 30 from the judges, landing in the middle of the scoreboard.

Fellow WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair was also spotted in the audience of last night’s show to support Nikki.

Nikki and Artem, who have dubbed themselves #TeamSmackDown, survived the first night of elimination – which saw Shark Tank’s panelist Barbara Corcoran and her pro dance partner Keo Motsepe become the first couple to go home.

During Tuesday’s Latin Night, #TeamSmackDown danced the Samba to Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito”. They earned their lowest score of the season so far with 18 points of 30. Head judge Len Goodman referred to the dance as “just okay”, saying that Nikki’s legs were off. Fellow judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli advised Nikki to work on her timing and movement.

Despite having the lowest score of the night, #TeamSmackDown survived the second night of elimination which saw singer Debbie Gibson and her pro dance partner Alan Bersten.

Below is a breakdown of #TeamSmackDown’s weekly score so far:

  • Week 1 – First Dances: 20 out of 30
  • Week 2 – Night 1, Ballroom Night: 21 out of 30 | Night 2, Latin Night: 18 out of 30
