Tonight at SummerSlam, birthday girl Paige gave herself one heck of a present: AJ Lee‘s Divas Championship.
Throughout the match, AJ displayed some off-kilter tenacity, biting Paige’s hand and pulling out her hair. Paige, for her part, showed plenty of fire, once dropping AJ face-first into the barricade.
The end of the match saw Paige shock everyone by working her way out of the Black Widow submission, hitting the Rampaige and pinning AJ for the win.
With the win, Paige has become a two-time Divas Champion.
