IWA Mid-South to reintroduce a Women’s Championship

IWA Mid-South announced the promotion will be re-establishing their women’s belt via a tournament taking place on April 19th in Memphis, Indiana.

The first round matchups have been set and competitors will square off under triple threat rules.

  • Nevaeh will be taking on Delilah Doom and Christi Jaynes
  • FaceBrooke will face Allie Kat and “Amazing” Maria James
  • Hudson Envy and Su Yung’s feud will continue in this promotion – they will face Shotzi Blackheart
  • Kikyo takes on Dementia D’Rose and Raze

Shazza McKenzie will also face Rain in a non-tournament match.

The IWA Mid-South Women’s Championship was deactivated on December 6, 2008, following Ian Rotten’s decision to retire the promotion’s belts, except the world and light heavyweight titles. Daizee Haze had re-won the championship for the second time that May after beating then-titleholder, Mickie Knuckles and Sara Del Rey.
