It was announced during commentary on the April 14 episode of IMPACT! but now it is confirmed. There will be a rematch from Sacrifice at Rebellion for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships.
At Sacrifice in March, The Influence became the Knockouts World Tag Team Champions after defeating The IInspiration. Since then, The Influence has retained at Multiverse of Matches in a Fatal 4-way that The IInspiration wasn’t a part of. Cassie Lee was medically uncleared to compete at that time. Now, The IInspiration is set to go and their rematch takes place this Saturday, April 23.
The Influence has recently fired their photographer Kaleb with a K and there was a tense backstage moment between Madison Rayne and Gisele Shaw as a result. Rayne holds a singles victory over Jessie McKay from last week.
This tag team match becomes the third Knockouts match confirmed for Rebellion. It will be on the Countdown to Rebellion Pre-show and be free for those who want to watch it on IMPACT’s YouTube Channel.
