The main event of The Great American Bash on Saturday may be setting up how the top of the NXT women’s division will look heading forward. Blake Monroe made her on-screen in ring debut as she teamed with Jordynne Grace. They defeated Fatal Influence members Fallon Henley and the NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne. Monroe pinned the champion here while Grace challenges Jayne for the title on Sunday at Evolution.
The match had a number of interference by the third member of Fatal Influence Jazmyn Nyx, that is until the Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich arrived. Slamovich took Nyx out of the equation, brawling with her to the backstage area.
Slamovich will be challenging whomever the champion is after Evolution, Jayne or Grace, at TNA’s Slammiversary in a Winner’s Take All Title vs. Title match.
Elsewhere at the Bash, Sol Ruca defended her NXT Women’s North American Title successfully against Izzi Dame w/Tatum Paxley. Ruca gets the chance to become a triple champion on Sunday as she and Zaria will be in the Fatal Four Way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at Evolution.
Dame and Paxley will be in the Battle Royal.
