Jacy Jayne Becomes the TNA Knockouts World Champion At Slammiversary

It’s one of the biggest nights in TNA history with so much on the line for TNA Slammiversary!

On Countdown to Slammiversary, we begin Knockouts action with the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship match as The Elegance Brand defend their titles against The IInspiration. Having made their long-awaited return to TNA, The IInspiration look to take back the titles they once held.

The IInspiration get an iconic head start, but get ahead of themselves as The Elegance Brand continue to take cheap shots. Jessie McKay finally makes the hot tag out to Cassie Lee and almost takes Ash By Elegance out with a Superplex, until M By Elegance and George Iceman get involved. Lee goes high-flying to put a stop to their shenanigans.

The match looks to be put to an end with an IIdolizer from The IInspiration, but is thwarted by a spear from Heather By Elegance. M By Elegance gets involved again, and this allows Ash By Elegance to hit Rarified Air to retain their titles.

The bad blooded history amongst Indi Hartwell and Tessa Blanchard culminates tonight as these two finally go head-to-head at Slammiversary. With their former friendship long past them, they look to prove who the better woman is once and for all.

With Victoria Crawford in tow, Blanchard continues to play smart by targeting her knee of Hartwell the entire match. Hartwell fights through and lands a Superplex on Blanchard to finally get the momentum she needs.

Blanchard attempts to pull out all the stops, but just cannot seem to put Hartwell out for good and gets frustrated. She hits a Diamond Cutter and Magnum from the top rope, but Hartwell kicks out each time.

In a split second, Hartwell quickly manages to capture Blanchard and throws her into the ropes. She follows up with her Hurts Don’t It to claim the win. Gia Miller looks to get a word with Hartwell, but both end up getting attacked by Crawford and Blanchard.

Santino Marella is furious with Blanchard and gets security to escort her out of the UBS Arena. Later in the night, he announces that Blanchard is indefinitely suspended from TNA due to her actions.

The TNA Knockouts World Championship and the WWE NXT Women’s Championship are on the line tonight as it’s winner takes all in this Title vs Title match. Either Masha Slamovich or Jacy Jayne will be walking home a double champion tonight, along with the storied history of the women who have carried both titles.

With Jayne having Fatal Influence on her side, Slamovich walks it all alone tonight. The numbers game proves to be a lot for Slamovich in this match, but fights through with everything she’s got.

Despite not wanting help, Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee decide to take Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley out of the match for good. But with the distraction, Jayne accidentally knocks out the referee. Slamovich hits the Snowplow, but as a new referee slides in, she only gets a two count.

As the two desperately try to score the pinfall, Slamovich is near winded. Jayne hits the Rolling Encore to knock out Slamovich and become the new TNA Knockouts World Champion.
