Bianca Belair is still sidelined with a broken finger from WrestleMania. At WrestleMania during a Triple Threat match between IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley is when the injury took place.
Since then, Belair has returned on two occasions in non-wrestling appearances. Most recently was as the special guest referee at Evolution in the No Holds Barred match between Jade Cargill and Naomi.
While speaking with CBS Sports, Belair gave us an update:
“I broke it in three places and the joint. It healed, but it won’t bend. You can’t wrestle with a straight finger because it’ll break again… I can’t even sew right now. I can’t even make gear. We’re on the end of this healing process, so we might have some time, but you never know. Crazy things happen.”
Belair continued, “I needed this break. I’ve been going for the past five years nonstop in the title picture, filming reality TV shows and appearances. I think I had over 300 appearances in one year.”
It’s noted, “Belair is waiting to see if surgery is necessary, but would not rule out a SummerSlam appearance.” As of now Belair is not scheduled to compete or appear at SummerSlam which is in just over a week.
