Nia Jax Takes Out Lash Legend; Tatum Paxley vs. Sola Ruca Set for the North American Title Next Week!

On July 29, 2025, NXT was all about Fatal Influence and setting up our next contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. The night kicked off with Jadia Parker vs. Jazmyn Nyx, a match that had extra pressure baked in thanks to Jacy Jayne telling Jazmyn backstage that it was time she “proved she’s a baddie.”

Jaida Parker vs. Jazmyn Nyx

As the bell rang, the two locked up with urgency. Jazmyn found herself muscled into the corner early, but turned it around with a flurry of kicks that caught Jadia off guard. A running boot was caught mid-motion by Parker, who whipped Jazmyn into the ropes and nearly turned her inside out with a front suplex followed by a springy blockbuster for a near fall.

Jazmyn recovered and began targeting the back, slamming Jadia’s head into the mat and twisting her into a modified Muta Lock that had the crowd buzzing. When she attempted a suplex, Jadia countered with one of her own and nearly hit her inverted slam—but Jazmyn floated out and connected with a slick roundhouse that almost ended the match. They reset, and Jadia came back with blistering chops and a whip into the ropes that led to a sharp back elbow. From there, she tossed Jazmyn into the corner, hit her “Tear Drop” followed by the “High Step,” and sealed the deal with the Hypnotic knee strike. No distractions. No interference. Just a clean, emphatic win for Jadia Parker.
Winner: Jadia Parker

Jacy and Fallon argued with Jazmyn post match following her defeat.

Later in the show, Blake Monroe hit the ring to address the rising chatter about Jordynne Grace. Her reasoning for the ongoing disrespect? “Jordynne’s not good enough.” Black dragged Grace’s early-career photo onto the screen and dismissed her transformation as cosmetic. “That’s not championship material. That’s gym membership material,” she spat, calling herself the face of a brand and slamming Jordynne as an “extra.”

Before she could finish, Blake was interrupted by—you guessed it—Lola. Lola Vice stormed in and told Black to shut her mouth, marveling at how someone so beautiful could be “so ugly on the inside.” She reminded Blake that star power doesn’t come from selfies or snide remarks—it comes from moments, like the ones she’s made on her own with Nikki Bella at Evolution. But before things got too warm and fuzzy, Jadia Parker returned to stake her own claim. No Bellas. No betrayals. No handouts. Just Jaida doing what she does: showing out and showing up.

As the tension escalated, Jordynne Grace’s music hit—though it was clearly a troll move, because it was Kelani Jordan who walked out. Kelani told Blake she might think she’s WWE’s hottest signing, but next week she’ll have to prove it. Blake, completely unimpressed, responded by promising to send Kelani straight to a medical facility. The brawl that followed sent Jaida and Blake tumbling outside, and when Blake tried to use Jaida to gather her bearings, she got shoved to the ground for her troubles.

Backstage, Tatum Paxley was all smiles after her recent tag team win. She said she was aiming for a match against Sol Ruca next week, but Izzi Dame reminded her she didn’t actually pin the champion. Before any more back-and-forth could happen, Shawn Spears and Niko arrived to congratulate Tatum—and surprise her with a North American Title match next week. Izzi managed a tight-lipped smile, clearly not thrilled to be left out of the picture.

Lash Legend vs. Fallon Henley

Things started tense, with Fallon mocking Lash before quickly being slammed around the ring. Lash dominated early with a gorilla press and a brutal splash that earned a two-count. Fallon showed resilience, slipping out of Lash’s grasp for a sunset flip, then hitting a blockbuster and leaping facebuster to even things up. A springboard bulldog connected, and Fallon nearly turned a Lash power move into another bulldog before Lash countered with a powerful fallaway slam and a clean kip-up.

Just when Lash seemed to have things in hand, Fallon evaded a charge and knocked her to the outside. Jazmyn Nyx got caught in the crossfire and took a stiff shot meant for Fallon. As Lash tried to recover, Jacy Jayne rushed in and landed a pump kick on Lash, but that wasn’t the real game-changer—Nia Jax was. Nia ambushed Lash with a thunderous Annihilator, leaving her sprawled on the floor. Fallon, ever the opportunist, rolled Lash into the ring and scored the win.
Winner: Fallon Henley

After the match, Fatal Influence had a tense confrontation. Fallon brushed off Jazmyn, saying she did her job while Jazmyn “failed.” Jazmyn fired back, insisting she was the reason Fallon won. But no one was stealing Nia’s spotlight. She stormed in and made it clear: Lash got dropped, and anyone else thinking they’re “a force to be reckoned with” should think again.
