Nia Jax returned to NXT last week in a surprise attack on Lash Legend. This week, Jax will be returning to the ring in NXT as she faces Thea Hail. Jax has not had a match in NXT since 2021 and that is the only match she has had on the brand outside of her initial run back in 2016. In 2021 she was the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Shayna Baszler and they successfully defended against Dakota Kai and Raquel Rodriguez.
Also set for tonight’s episode is a NXT Women’s North American TItle Match. Sol Ruca will be defending against Tatum Paxley. Ruca has held the title since April at Stand & Deliver where she won a ladder match for the vacant title. Since then, Ruca has successfully defended the gold twice against Kelani Jordan and Izzi Dame.
Speaking of Kelani, she will be in action also as she takes on Blake Monroe. Since Monroe’s NXT debut she has irked some of the women in the locker room. Kelani being one of them.
