At the time of this writing, WWE still hasn’t confirmed what is going on with the Women’s World Champion Naomi. She was declared not medically cleared ahead of the Aug. 11 episode of Raw. This led to the cancellation of her title match against IYO SKY. SKY instead took on Roxanne Perez in a losing effort.
A report by PWInsider Elite states that Naomi was backstage at Raw this week. So this means whatever is keeping her from being medically cleared wasn’t something to stop her from being present at the show. In addition to that, the news was kept very quiet from other talent.
Stephanie Vaquer is scheduled to face Naomi at Clash in Paris at the end of the month. She alluded on Raw to IYO SKY that she was also supposed to get a title match.
