Hola a todos, and welcome to the CMLL Weekly Review!
This week the first women’s tag match was between the newer talent of Lady Metal and Nexy to take on Valkyria and Candela.
With an in-ring showing that felt fresh and fun, Candela was able to shine through with innovative offense, finishing things up with a cyclone suplex for the win.
On the same night, “Las Chicas Indomables” teamed up with La Catalina in a six-Amazon tag match versus Sanely, Olympia, and one of the number one contenders for the CMLL titles, Reyna Isis.
The match going longer than usual was won by the babyfaces after being put through the ringer with their combo moves and aggression of Las Rudas. You can watch the match on YouTube.
Last Friday night, Las Chicas Indomables with La Catalina faced their rivals and challengers Reyna Isis and Persephone alongside Hera.
As usual with Las Chicas Indomables, the match turned into a brawl for a while as the tag champions were fighting outside of the ring against Perse and Reyna Isis, and while things were heating up between the six women, Las Rudas were able to pin them by surprise at the same time, thus winning the match.
Besides challenging for the CMLL tag titles, Persephone was also announced as the representative for CMLL at Forbidden Door in the UK. She will participate in the Fatal 4-Way match for the TBS title. She will also face Alexxis Falcon in a singles match at RevPro Global Wars.
While the National Mexican Women Tag Team Champions Skadi and Kira will defend their titles versus the sister duo of Hera and Olympia tonight.
This will be it for now; let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
