Hola a todos, and welcome to the CMLL Weekly Review! This week we had several single matches with surprising outcomes and great wrestling!
First on the Glamour Tuesdays, one half of the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions, Lluvia, had a single’s match versus another second-generation star, the woman with the black glove, Sanely.
You can watch their match for free on YouTube now!
Simultaneously, but this time from Arena México in Mexico City, the Mexican National Women’s Champion India Sioux had a match relámpago against fan favorite Reyna Isis.
The champion defeated Reyna Isis with the Rosa Driver (a hammerlock guillotine drop) in less than 10 minutes.
In a surprising turn of events, the CMLL Japan Women’s Champion Dark Silueta lost her championship due to an injury in the middle of the match at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Koguma won the title, becoming the new CMLL Japan Women’s Champion. Post-match, Hazuki came down to the ring to confront the newly crowned champion.
We wish a speedy recovery for Dark Silueta.
Her former tag partner Zeuixs had a different outcome this week, as she faced La Catalina in a one-on-one.
On Wednesday they were on CMLL Informa to promote their match; La Catalina stated that Zeuxis was always jealous of her and that people did not know of her injury because she is not important.
On Friday they went head-to-head inside the ring; Zeuxis did not take La Catalina’s words lightly and went at her as hard as she could, and while the Chilean Diva was able to hold her own, she still lost to the veteran with a Spanish fly.
This will be it for now, until the next time!
