ROH: Pure Rules Tournament Continues…

Hola a todos, welcome to the Honor Club! This week the Pure Rules tournament continues its quest to crown the first-ever ROH Women’s Pure Champion.

After a video package highlighting the participants, we had our first women’s match of the night, a qualifier match between CMLL’s own Olympia against the hellbent vixen Viva Van.

In a more balanced match in which anyone could take the win, it was Olympia’s strength that allowed her to get the win to advance in the tournament.

Next we had another vignette promoting the newest Ring of Honor member and Premiere Athlete Stori Denali; she will be making her in-ring debut in a six-person tag match next week.

Death Riders members Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta were in tag action against Aleah James and Man Like Dereiss. The Death Riders went in on the attack as soon as they got in the ring. In typical AEW fashion, the Death Riders won the exhibition match over the unsigned talent with Shafir’s mother’s milk submission hold.

And the last women’s match was a pure rules match that saw Yuka Yakasaki facing former MLW talent Janai Kai.  Yuka’s high-flying moves along with her personality were the perfect combo to get the crowd behind her during the whole showing.

The kick demon slowed the pace, allowing her to get the upper hand, but even with her stiff kicks, Kai ended up losing to Yuka’s magic after a spinning hammerlock slam.

This will be all for now. Who do you want to see winning the tournament? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
