Piper Niven has been out of action for a month now since she defeated Charlotte Flair on the Aug. 22 episode of SmackDown. Since then, it has been Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre teaming up to fight against the tag team champions.
In a report from Fightful Select, it was originally confirmed that Niven was injured but it was undisclosed. Now, Fightful is stating their sources are saying she has a neck injury.
While the injury is said to be “serious”, those spoken to believe that Niven will return.
Niven is still awaiting an official diagnosis. WWE has only confirmed that she is not medically cleared.
