The Oct. 6 episode of Raw already has two women’s matches that were set up from last week.
First, thanks to a confrontation between Becky Lynch and Maxxine Dupri, the two go one-on-one tonight. This will be a non-title match. The last time these two faced off against each other was in August. Lynch was victorious.
This could lead up to AJ Lee appearing for the first time since she teamed up with her husband CM Punk at Wrestlepalooza. They defeated Lynch and Seth Rollins in that encounter. CM Punk will be returning tonight, so one can assume that Lee will be as well even though it wasn’t confirmed.
Elsewhere, another rematch is taking place between Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez. Valkyria got the win the last time between these two, but with Bayley’s return since and her unpredictability, it is hard to guess what may happen.
Although not officially advertised, things between Asuka and IYO SKY are just getting started. Rhea Ripley and SKY will be teaming up against Asuka and Kairi Sane this weekend at Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia.
