NXT Women Beat TNA Knockouts! Blake Monroe Slips Into North American Title Scene

Last night’s show was all about cross-promotional bragging rights. After months of teasing and cameo appearances, NXT and TNA finally collided in a traditional Women’s Tag Team Elimination match—with none other than former Knockout’s Champion Jordynne Grace serving as special guest referee. The stakes weren’t just about victory; they were about proving which brand’s roster could impose their will inside the ropes.

Let’s break it down match by match.

Team NXT vs. Team TNA – Women’s Tag Team Elimination Match

NXT: Jacy Jayne, Lola Vice, Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca
TNA: Kelani Jordan, Cassie Lee, Jessie McKay, Mara Sade

Team captains Kelani Jordan and Jacy Jayne started things off. Jordan exploded with a crisp crossbody and quick covers, forcing Jayne to rethink her pace. Jayne answered with a huracanrana that shifted momentum briefly. Lola Vice tagged in, tossing in some sass after dropping Jordan with a shoulder tackle, but Jordan’s speed made her tough to ground.

The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay) entered next, landing stereo kicks on Vice before striking their iconic pose. Commentary highlighted how the duo balanced motherhood with their comeback, making their presence feel that much bigger.

Mara Sade (whose new look, I love) brought some grit against Jaida Parker, but Parker and Vice doubled up with a hip-check combo. Sade countered with sharp forearms and a Sling Blade, forcing quick saves from Lee and McKay. Things broke down fast, eight women in, trading blows, chaos spilling everywhere. The IInspiration launched crossbodies, Sade nailed a Suicide Dive, and Jordan flew with a triangle moonsault to the outside. Not to be outdone, Sol Ruca capped it with a dazzling handspring dive before the break.

Coming back, NXT held firm until McKay swung momentum for Team TNA. They isolated Sol Ruca with crisp tags and cutoffs. Ruca, however, flipped a double suplex into a double DDT!

Jayne re-entered and unloaded: neckbreaker, superkick, cannonball, and diving senton, yet Jordan stubbornly kicked out. Jordan rallied with a slick split-legged stunner for two. Parker bulldozed both IInspiration members into the corner, stacking them for a draping Banzai Drop. Sade fought back with a reverse X-Factor and a (let’s call it ambitious but still beautiful) moonsault attempt.

The ring swirled with bodies again, Jaida suplex, Jordan splash, forearm exchanges. Parker dumped Lee with HipNotic, but Sade rolled up Jaida Parker for the first elimination. Sol Ruca immediately answered with a Sol Snatcher, sending Sade packing.

With the numbers even, TNA doubled down on Jayne, drawing comparisons to the infamous 2001 Invasion angle. That gave Lola Vice the stage. On the hot tag, Vice unleashed a flurry of Tae Kwon Do kicks, followed by her trademark hip attacks on The IInspiration, punctuating them with a spinning backfist that eliminated Cassie Lee! Props to Cassie on that sell too.

Moments later, Jessie McKay taps to Vice’s rear naked choke, swinging the odds to 3-on-1.

Jordan wasn’t done yet. She hit Jayne with her split legged moonsault “One of a Kind,” but Grace’s attention was tied up by brawling at ringside. A late count frustrated Kelani Jordan, and Jayne nearly stole it with a roll-up. Vice blind-tagged herself in, only to eat an Angle Slam that gave Jordan the elimination.

Sol Ruca went high-risk, nearly stealing it after a Backpack Stunner. Jordan countered with a victory roll, then drilled a sit-out DDT. The climax came when both battled up top, Jordan hit a breathtaking Super Spanish Fly, but Sol blocked a 450 splash with the knees. One more Sol Snatcher landed, only for Jayne to opportunistically tag herself in and steal the pin, snatching the glory.

Result: Team NXT defeated Team TNA via pinfall.

Team NXT celebrated, but tension wasn’t far behind. Zaria approached Sol Ruca, who promised they’d soon be tag champions. Enter Blake Monroe, stirring the pot, accusing Sol of being greedy like Jordynne Grace and using Zaria. Zaria pushed back, but Blake smirked, questioning how long their alliance could actually last.

Team NXT’s win, with Jayne stealing the final pin, sets up plenty of intrigue heading forward. And with Blake already playing mind games backstage, maybe the Tag Team Titles aren’t in Sol & Zaria’s future?
