Hola a todos, and welcome to the CMLL Weekly Review! This Friday we had three women’s matches, featuring a traditional tag match, the return of a TNA knockout and a qualifying match for the 2025 CMLL Universal Amazon Tournament.
As it was previously announced TNA Knockout Tessa Blanchard reappeared in CMLL in a match relàmpago, against one half of the CMLL Women’s Tag Champions, Lluvia.
In one of her better matches since facing Jordynne Grace, the hard hitting Blanchard won with six seconds left on the clock after hitting magnum from the top rope.
While the breakout stars Persephone and Olympia face off against La Catalina and the current Mexican National Women’s Champion India Sioux.
A match with three of the most athletic women in the roster, they won the crowd attention with their strength and signature high flying moves. with the babyfaces winning amid the boos from the crowd.
Finally the tournament for the 2025 CMLL Universal Championship Continued, this time featuring the return of the mexican wrestling legend Marcela.
After a year and a half she returned to compete in the tournament that also featured her daughter and one half of the Mexican National Tag Team Champion Skadi, Tabata, La Jarochita, Zeuxis and Sanely.
The final two were Zeuxis and Skadi, and surprisingly Skadi was able to pull through, winning the match to qualify for the finals.
