Nikki Bella has been absent from WWE for a bit after making her return earlier this year for the Royal Rumble. Since then, her return has been stopped and started due to Liv Morgan’s injury which pivoted to a feud with Becky Lynch.
In a report by Fightful Select, WWE still expects Nikki to be involved with the company “for a while.” Her run was never meant to be full-time. She’s expected to appear for special events and storylines. There were no plans for Nikki at Crown Jewel.
Also during a Q & A session, Sean Ross Sapp stated that Trish Stratus will be utilized again as well. Stratus appeared earlier this year to face Tiffany Stratton at Evolution.
