Hola a todos, welcome to the Honor Club! This week the Pure Rules Tournament continues, but first a tag match between newfound friends Alex Windsor and Yuka Sakazaki takes on Taya Valkyrie and the returning Robyn Renegade.
Since the AEW Women’s Tag Titles got announced, it has never been better for a talent to be in a tag team. Both known in past lives to be in tag teams, Taya and Robyn were not able to come through and lost after Yuka hit her with the Magic Girl Splash for the win.
The Death Ryders, Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta, were also in tag action, taking on another exhibition match showcasing their technique against familiar faces Angelica Risk and Aaron Solo. Getting the tap with mother’s milk.
In the most anticipated match of the tournament so far and after weeks of conflict, Deonna Purrazzo and Trish Adora finally came face-to-face inside of the ring.
Deonna let her intentions be known, hitting Trish from the get-go. Aggressively, both tried to one-up one another; after missing the Larriat Thubman twice, the Virtuosa took advantage and locked the Venus De Milo for the win.
Purrazzo is still slated to face Queen Aminata in the next round of the tournament, regardless of her recent injury.
This will be it for now, let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
