Mercedes Moné Tops 2025 PWI Women’s 250 List, Toni Storm Takes Second

Mercedes Moné tops this year’s PWI (Pro Wrestling Illustrated) Women’s 250 list. This list has grown tremendously since its start in 2008 when Awesome Kong was the first woman to be listed at number one. That list only had 50 women. Over the years it has grown to 100 in 2018, 150 in 2021, and now sits at 250 since 2023.

Moné has been on a career high ever since joining AEW in 2024. She currently sits at 12 belts and 10 titles across various promotions around the world and being a true workhorse of the industry. AEW also grabs the second spot this year with Toni Storm. Storm topped the list in 2024.

These are the following requirements of how PWI makes their decision.

Evaluation Period – October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025

Criteria:

  • In-Ring Achievement – Win-loss records, championships, tournaments won.
  • Influence – Visibility and prestige within a promotion and.or the industry.
  • Technical Ability – Variety of moves, qualify of matches, and in-ring storytelling.
  • Competition – Success against the most varied and highest-qualify opponenets.
  • Activity – Minimum 10 singles (non-tag) matches total; or, barring this, six such matches in separate months.
