Bianca Belair will hopefully be returning soon, but no one imagined her WrestleMania injury would keep her out this long. To catch up on what took place, at WrestleMania in April, Belair was involved in a Triple Threat with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY for the Women’s World Title. Her injury took place during that match when A move off the top rope resulted in Ripley landing on the hand of Belair..
In an interview on BET, Belair describes the injury. It isn’t her finger per say that broke, it was her knuckle, her joint. She goes on to say she thought it was something that was going to be straight forward, six to twelve weeks tops. It has so far been seven months as of this writing. She adds in the interview she is hoping to be back in the ring soon.
The last report received by BodySlamNet just last week, had WWE hoping for an early 2026 return. Original reports had her cleared after SummerSlam which did not occur.
Since her injury, Belair has appeared on WWE programming in her hometown and also refereed a match between Jade Cargill and Naomi at Evolution.
