The IInspiration And Kelani Jordan Retain At Turning Point; Mila Moore Steps Up

Following just one return show since October’s Bound for Glory, TNA hosted Turning Point on Friday. At that event, both the TNA Knockouts World Title and the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles were on the line.

The tag titles were defending successfully by the current champions The IInspiration, who are in their second reign. They defeated The Elegance Brand prior to Bound for Glory. At Turning Point, they defended against rhat Angel Warriors (Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee) and Victoria Crawford & Mila Moore. Moore was a fill in for Tessa Blanchard as she stepped up due to Blanchard announcing an injury. This was also Moore’s official debut since being signed.

The match starts getting out of hand towards the end of the match as all six Knockouts get involved. Lee took out Crawford and Moore with a crossbody to the outside but this left Brookside alone. The IInspiration hit Brookside with The IIdolizer to win.

Kelani Jordan has had a run in with the Elegance Brand and had her title in danger two nights in a row. First, she defeated Heather by Elegance during the live episode of iMPACT! on Thursday. At Friday’s Turning Point,Jordan was challenged from M by Elegance. With Heather and the Personal Concierge at ringside, this made it more difficult for Jordan. The two traded near falls towards the end of the match. M connects with a sit-down driver for a near fall. Jordan locked in a single leg crab but M breaks free. Jordan hits One of a Kind to secure the win and remain champion.

Mara Sade, Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee were seen watching this match backstage. Jordan will be defending her title next at NXT Gold Rush against Lei Ying Lee and Jordynne Grace.

Lastly, Indi Hartwell and Dani Luna took their feud to a No Disqualification match. The match starts out on the ramp with a kendo stick. Later on, Luna locks in a modified crossface with the kendo stick but Hartwell was able to fight out. Hartwell lands a Spinebuster into the ladder but it wasn’t enough to keep her rival down. She puts Luna through a table on the floor with an elbow drop. Hartwell does get the victory as she defeats Luna with Hurts Donut into a chair.

TNA will have a set of tapings on Nov. 15.
