The last Raw before Survivor Series WarGames and we were welcomed with zero matches. This follows last week’s SmackDown which also had zero matches for the women. What’s going on? No clue.
Anywhoozles, the two women’s WarGames teams met in the ring. First, it was the heel team as Becky Lynch took to the mic surrounded by her team of Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and the Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors. Lynch addressed the crowd stating that she has the best lawyers on the job in order to counter what went on last week with her loss of the Women’s IC Title against Maxxine Dupri. So with that, she wasn’t going to address Dupri, Adam Pearce, or Jessika Carr because legal was involved.
Lynch continued around the ring mentioning how she took each woman under her wing and helped them grow into the stars they are. She even mentions the time Jax broke her face. And she says that with Legend, she intends on making her a star. She was met with weird looks by all of her teammates before the baby face team emerged.
The face team was led by AJ Lee which includes Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY. Lee said that Lynch lit a fire inside of her and the women of her own team have pour gasoline on it. She adds that Lynch has made the mistake of being in a locked cage with her because she can let the old AJ out and do whatever it is she wants to do to her. She hands the mic over to Rhea who simply knocks Nia in the head with it to start the brawl.
Lash and Nia fight with IYO and Rhea as AJ goes after Becky and The Kabuki Warriors tangle with CharLexa. Lash’s power was put on display as well as Becky’s cowardliness as she pushes her team into a moonsault by SKY. Lynch escapes the moonsault and stands alone on the ramp to end the segment.
You wouldn’t know it, but we have a Women’s World Title match this Saturday at Survivor Series as Stephanie Vaquer defends against Nikki Bella. All we got from this was a Vaquer vignette…which may have already aired?
Maxxine Dupri was backstage as she was congratulated by Adam Pearce. Pearce tells her that more women on the roster have been coming to him for a shot at the Women’s IC Title over any other title. He says she has to focus, work hard, and move forward. Dupri agrees and says the work is just getting started and she is going to call Natalya. She is then met with challengers such as Ivy Nile followed by Roxanne Perez (with Raquel). Both Nile and Perez said they want the title. Pearce regroups and says he suggests that Dupri calls Natalya right now.
A second teaser video for the upcoming women’s WrestleMania promo video aired. This one is Rhea Ripley. The full promo will be released in 4 days. The fist one, which was posted earlier seems to be Liv Morgan?
