Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander Set For AEW Worlds End, Dec. 27

After teaming with each other on the Dec. 13 episode of AEW Collision, Jamie Hayter has set her sights on once again becoming AEW Women’s World Champion. Hayter and the current champion Kris Statlander teamed up on Saturday in Cardiff, United Kingdom to challenge the Sisters of Sin. Hayter picked up the win for their team by landing Hayterade on Julia Hart. Hayter last won the belt three years ago in November 2022.

Directly after the match, Hayter turned her attention to the AEW Women’s World Title belt in the hands of Statlander. Hayter was all business, wanting a shot at the gold, which Statlander was more than happy to accept. Thekla was watching from up high at the interaction between Hayter and Statlander as she may have her eyes on the gold as well.

Backstage, Lexy Nair talked to both a fired-up Hayter and Statlander. The match was officially confirmed for two weeks at Worlds End on Dec. 27. Statlander has held the belt for nearly 85 days and counting, and will be nearly 100 days when the two meet. She has successfully defended the gold against Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm, and Mercedes Mone.
