Despite this year coming to a close quite soon, tonight’s TNA Impact looks to provide some new opportunities and even some revelations for the Knockouts roster.
After a bit of an altercation last week, the TNA Knockouts World Champion, Lei Ying Lee, will team up with her Angel Warriors partner, Xia Brookside, to take on Tessa Blanchard and Mila Moore. Blanchard is determined to get another shot at the Knockouts title and looks to beat both Lee and Brookside to do so.
The Angel Warriors are in sync and go high-risk, taking out Blanchard and her crew.
After some dirty tactics from The Diamond Collective, Lee gets cut off from Brookside and is desperate to get the tag out. Lee is close to tagging out, but Robert Stone put a stop to that. Blanchard gets ahead of herself and gets locked in a Single-Legged Boston Crab until Moore breaks it up.
Lee finally gets the hot tag out to Brookside and takes it to both Blanchard and Moore. The Angel Warriors hit their finish, but Blanchard breaks it up, only for her to get sent out of the ring. Moore gets hit by Lee with her finish, and The Angel Warriors pick up the win.
Dani Luna was watching the match closely. After winning her Dog Collar match, she sends a message to the Knockouts Champion.
Backstage, The Diamond Collective is frustrated about their loss. Blanchard says they’re done playing around and challenge any three Knockouts to take them on.
Meanwhile, Gia Miller looks to get a word with Lee about Luna’s words earlier tonight. Lee is determined to defend her title any time, anywhere.
Indi Hartwell reflects on her recent loss in the Dog Collar match and looks to get back in shape and chase after the Knockouts Championship.
After months of animosity between some of the NXT and TNA male rosters, tonight’s main event put both in a steel cage match. Team TNA picked up the win on their home turf, but the animosity between the two teams is less than settled. Post-match, Arianna Grace, who has been caught up in this debacle, decides which team she’s on. And she truly crosses the line as she low blows her own father, Santino Marella, as she sides with NXT. Marella is getting beat by Stacks and his own daughter until Santana and Steve Maclin make the save.
