One half of the AEW Women’s World Champions, Willow Nightingale, will be taking on Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship. This match is set for this Wednesday, Dec. 31 on Dynamite New Year’s Smash.
Nightingale has earned this title shot by pinning Moné in an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles match at Worlds End on Saturday. Nightingale is also the woman that Moné defeated for the TBS Championship 581 days ago. If Nightingale gets the win, she will not only dethrone Moné short of a 600 day reign, but be the first woman to hold the TBS Title twice.
