Happy New Year Diva Dirt! Tonight on TNA Impact we celebrate the new year by setting the stage for TNA Genesis in a few weeks time.
The TNA Knockouts World Champion, Lei Ying Lee, along with her Angel Warriors partner, Xia Brookside, are set to face off against The Elegance Brand. Earlier tonight, Ash By Elegance says that she has the utmost respect for Lee, much to everyone’s surprise.
M By Elegance starts the match trying to show off, but gets caught in her tracks by Lee. As Brookside looks away, The Elegance Brand starts to fight back. Closely watching the action backstage is none other than the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, The IInspiration.
Out of nowhere, Dani Luna makes her appearance and prevents Lee from making the tag. M locks in a Bow and Arrow Stretch as Heather hits a dropkick on Brookside to pick up the win.
Arianna Grace has the mic tonight and addresses why she turned on her father. Simply put, she’s tired of being known as Santino Marella’s daughter and doesn’t need his approval anymore. She stands with Stacks and the NXT crew behind her.
Up next, it’s more tag action as Indi Hartwell, Jody Threat, and Jade Stone take on Tessa Blanchard, Victoria Crawford, and Mila Moore of The Diamond Collective. Krystall Poppin is also in the house tonight to perform Blanchard’s theme song.
Threat takes out both Crawford and Moore, and with Hartwell and Stone’s help, they send The Diamond Collective towards the outside. Stone goes high risk and springboards on the top rope to take the other team out.
Stone is on fire, but it soon gets extinguished as Robert Stone gets involved. She finally finds an opening and gets the tag to Hartwell. The match quickly falls apart, and Blanchard is furiously determined to take Stone out. Blanchard hits the Magnum, and Moore tags in to win the pinfall.
