It’s Maximum Carnage tonight on AEW Dynamite, and the AEW Women’s Champs have a busy night ahead of themselves.
The AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander, teams up with the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Harley Cameron and the TBS Champion Willow Nightingale to take on the Triangle of Madness. After Thekla’s warnings in the past week, the trio finally looks to prove why they should be the next champions of AEW, and not the Cosmic Babes of Wrath.
Julia Hart and Skye Blue take a beating early on in the match, and the champions look to have a strong start. That is, until Thekla finally gets the tag in to take control.
Cameron is in trouble for a moment, but makes the tag out to Statlander as she finally gets her hands on Thekla. Statlander takes on the Sisters of Sin, but eats a DDT by Skye Blue.
All chaos ensues, and Nightingale is about to hit The Babe with the Powerbomb on Thekla, but she reverses it. Thekla goes into spider mode, but Statlander makes the tag, only to eat a spear. With Nightingale incapacitated, Thekla gets the 1-2-3 on the World Champion.
Finally, Zayda Steel, along with SkyFlight, have some choice words for Marina Shafir and The Death Riders, as well as the Don Callis family.
