Judgment Day Stand Tall Ahead of SNME; Several Women Confirmed For Royal Rumble Match

Over the next two weekends, WWE presents a major turning point with Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24 followed by the Royal Rumble on January 31. Judgment Day has a golden opportunity to win big across both events and potentially begin their reign over the women’s locker room heading into 2026.

First, Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez will challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at Saturday Night’s Main Event. On the January 19 episode of Raw from Belfast, Northern Ireland, the champions RHIYO came to the ring and declared that after retaining the gold at SNME against Judgment Day, they will enter the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

The champions were interrupted by Morgan and Perez, with Morgan attempting to get inside SKY’s head by claiming that Ripley always turns on those closest to her and inevitably ends up alone. Although Morgan and Perez mocked the idea of Ripley and SKY entering the Royal Rumble, all of the Judgment Day women have officially declared themselves for the match. This distraction allowed Raquel Rodriguez to sneak-attack Ripley, sparking a chaotic brawl among the five women. Despite Ripley and SKY trying to fight back, the numbers game was too much. Morgan landed an ObLIVion to Ripley as the Judgment Day stands tall to end the segment.

Throughout the show a few more names entered the Royal Rumble list. These happened in backstage moments between Bayley and Lyra Valkyira and another featuring the Kabuki Warriors. In the one with the Kabuki Warriors, Asuka blames Kairi Sane for losing the tag team titles and losing last week. Sane says she will make things right as she will make sure that Asuka wins the Royal Rumble.
