The Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, returned from injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event over the weekend. On this week’s Raw on Jan. 26, Vaquer returned to the ring in six-woman tag team action. She teamed with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY to face all three members of Judgment Day.
In the six woman tag team match, the result came down to Ripley picking up the win for her team with Riptide to Roxanne Perez.
Later in the show, Rodriguez was yelling for Vaquer backstage when she ran into Bayley. Bayley told her to shut up and called her an idiot because she was on the phone. Lyra Valkyria then stepped in between them. Rodriguez continued on the quest for Vaquer. Vaquer would jump her from behind and the two brawled.
Vaquer would meet with Pearce and demand a match against Rodriguez. No, not just a match, a fight. Pearce made it official that next week the Women’s World Title will be on the line in a Philly Street Fight.
