Elayna Black Secures First Win As a Knockout; Alisha Edwards Says Contract Is Almost Up

Tonight on TNA Impact, we look to see a new Knockout stake their claim and some feuds heat up.

To start the night, The System kicks off Impact tonight, and Alisha Edwards is furious after the betrayal she faced at TNA Genesis. Edwards says her contract is up soon and says she doesn’t want to be a part of The System. She ends up walking out on her crew and her husband.

Next, Mara Sadé comes out to fight the allegations that she has been assaulting Ryan Nemeth for no reason. Nemeth wants to shake hands and make Sadé admit her defeat in front of her home crowd. Sadé claims he deserved it, but ends up shaking hands anyway, until Sadé lays it in on him. She goes for another Superkick, but ends up eating a hard lariat instead.

Backstage, The Elegance Brand celebrates the restoration of Ash By Elegance with some roses and diamonds. Ash is more focused on getting the title back that she never lost. Speak of the devil, the TNA Knockouts World Champion, Lei Ying Lee, shows up and is up for a fight. Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell arrive to back up the champ, and Ash tells them to set up a 3-on-3 match with Santino Marella on her time. Mr. Elegance scares them off, but they take some champagne for the road.

Stacks, along with Arianna Grace, is up against The Home Town Man tonight. He promised her no cheating, but ends up doing it anyway to pick up the win, and lies straight to her face. Backstage, Grace still wants to make it up to her father, but Stacks refuses to play fair.

Jada Stone introduces herself to the TNA fans, but is rudely interrupted by Order 4. Tasha Steelz decides to handle business for herself and lands a hard forearm on Stone. Security breaks it up, and coming to Stone’s aid is Elijah.

Next week, Steelz and Mustafa Ali will take on Stone and Elijah in mixed tag-team action.

Tonight, Elayna Black is set to make her in-ring debut as an official TNA Knockout. Black has been set on making this the “Era of Elayna” and looks to prove that tonight against Ruthie Jay. Watching this match commentary is “The Suit” Daria Rae, who signed Black to the company.

Unfortunately, Jay gets a bit too cocky, and Black takes care of her in a matter of minutes as the “Era of Elayna” continues.

What did you think of tonight’s TNA Impact? Can Black continue this era she’s in? What is in store for the future of the Knockouts division? Let us know below!
