For Feb. 6 we will celebrate Queen Aminata.
Queen Aminata is a rising talent in AEW, and it is only a matter of time before she rises to the top. Aminata has been wrestling since 2017, and has spent the first half of her career on the indies. Since then, she has captured the attention of the AEW audience and has worked primarily with AEW and ROH since 2021. She has gone from working in AEW on its now defunct Dark show to being showcased on Dynamite.
Aminata exudes black excellence as she originally hails from Guinea, Africa. Often showcasing her African heritage through her ring gear, she immigrated to the United States in 2013 after living and studying in Paris, France.
Originally showcased in ROH, Aminata has stepped into a role in AEW when the roster needed her the most. A prime utility player. She has battled for gold in both promotions where she was in the finals to crown the inaugural ROH Women’s TV Champion.
Currently sidelined with medical concerns, once Aminata returns, she needs to be positioned and achieve a title run.
