AJ Lee is back.
On the Feb. 9 episode of Raw, AJ Lee returned at the start of the show – much to the dismay of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch.
Lynch took to the ring first. She says she was going to address the atrocities from the Royal Rumble, but instead she became fixated on Lee’s presence.
Lee headed to the ring after Lynch vented her frustration about the constant disrespect. Lynch said she was done with Lee’s “act,” accusing her of ruining her life. She pleaded with Lee to leave her alone, while also warning that she’d destroy Lee’s life in return if it came to that. Lynch then pointed out that the Elimination Chamber takes place in Lee’s hometown of Chicago, suggesting that Lee is angling for a one-on-one match there.
This made Lee state that she hasn’t had a singles match or a title match in over a decade. She said she wouldn’t have the match unless the gold was on the line. Lynch at first said no, but then caved into the request.
Lee is set for next week’s Raw.
