Black History Month Spotlight: Jaida Parker

Throughout the month of February, Diva Dirt will spotlight one Black women’s wrestler a day. This won’t be a countdown, but just a way to shine light on the past and present Black women of the industry. With that said, these daily articles will not be in any particular order.

Representation matters to marginalized groups, and here at Diva Dirt we focus on giving those individuals the recognition they deserve.

For Feb. 15, let’s chat about Jaida Parker.

Jaida Parker has grown to be a fan favorite in a relatively short amount of time. Only signed since 2022, Parker is a homegrown talent in WWE, performing on the NXT brand. Her background is in soccer. Parker has cited names such as Mercedes Mone, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair as idols and hopes to be future opponents one day. Parker has outshined in a stable with two men known as O.T.M (Out The Mud).

Despite her brief hiatus at the end of 2025, Parker has been maintaining a weekly appearance on NXT programming. This has allowed her to challenge for several championships including the NXT Women’s Title, the NXT Women’s North American Title, and the WWE Women’s Speed Title. She hasn’t been able to capture gold just yet, but it definitely is in her future. She appeared in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Parker remains booked with main event stars such as Blake Monroe, and she excels on the mic.
