Hola a todos, welcome CMLL Weekly Review! With La Noche De Las Amazonas in sight, all the women have been on a roll, doing their best to impress to get a spot on their most important night of the year.
On Tuesday night, with the MLPxCMLL partnership, the inaugural and reigning MLP Women’s Canadian Champion, Gisele Shaw, made herstory with her debut in CMLL, Shaw is the first openly trans woman to compete and successfully defend her title, this time against la mujer del guante negro, Sanely.
While on Wednesday during CMLL Informa, it was announced that there would be a four-woman elimination tag match between TNA Knockout Tessa Blanchard, Zeuxis, Olympia and Persephone. The winners will have a one-on-one next Friday to determine the number one contender to Mercedes Moné´s CMLL World Women’s Championship at La Noche de las Amazonas.
Internationally at STARDOM, the Mexican National Women’s Champion, India Sioux, teamed up with Maiko in a winning effort against Tabata and Hazuki in Osaka, Japan.
Then on Friday, there was a Six Amazon tag match between Persephone, Olympia, Dark Silueta taking on La Catalina, Kira and Akari, an exciting showcase of athletisim and strength between all the competitors involved, but at the end Persephone’s power prevailed, taking the win for her team.
