Throughout the month of February, Diva Dirt will spotlight one (or more) Black women’s wrestler a day. This won’t be a countdown, but just a way to shine light on the past and present Black women of the industry. With that said, these daily articles will not be in any particular order.
Representation matters to marginalized groups, and here at Diva Dirt we focus on giving those individuals the recognition they deserve.

Well, it is time to catch up a bit, so here are three women for Feb. 21 – Sol Ruca, Feb. 22 – Kali Armstrong, and Feb. 23 – Jada Stone
Feb. 21 – Sol Ruca
Sol Ruca has quickly emerged as one of WWE’s most promising homegrown prospects, having come through the company’s Next In Line (NIL) program. With a background in gymnastics and a biracial heritage, she brings a dynamic and unique presence to the ring. Ruca officially signed with WWE in 2022 and now competes on the NXT roster.
In terms of in-ring influence, she draws inspiration from fellow WWE standouts Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. When it comes to her overall vibe and style, she channels the bold, expressive energy of musical artists Gwen Stefani and Kesha.
Just one year into her career, Sol Ruca suffered a torn ACL that sidelined her for an entire year. She made a major statement upon returning, quickly regaining momentum and making up for lost time by capturing two championships, the NXT Women’s North American Championship and the WWE Women’s Speed Title.
Ruca secured the NXT Women’s North American Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania season, emerging victorious in a multi-woman ladder match.
As she became a double champion, she formed a tag team with Zaria, known together as ZaRuca. She has received a lot of praise from the company and the industry as a whole and is poised to become a big star on the main roster. She has already received a huge win over Bayley at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December at John Cena’s final match event.
Feb. 22 – Kali Armstrong
Kali Armstrong has made a positive impression since joining WWE in 2023. Armstrong has appeared on the NXT brand but is mostly seen on EVOLVE. She was the inaugural EVOLVE Women’s Champion and held the gold for 151-days. Armstrong is another homegrown talent with a background in track and field.
Armstrong has worked closely with fellow newcomers Kendal Grey, Chantel Monroe, and Lainey Reid and has drawn support and advice from veteran Natalya and NXT star Jaida Parker. She even defended the EVOLVE Women’s Title successfully against Natalya. Her in-ring ability is often highlighted power-based offense, explosive athleticism, and intense presence. She should be climbing the ranks shortly and moving forward to a permanent spot in NXT.
Feb. 23 – Jada Stone
Another rising talent, Jada Stone has quickly become one of the newest additions to the TNA Knockouts division. Still just 22 years old, Stone has been competing on the independent circuit since her debut and brings an athletic background in softball and cheerleading to the ring. She holds Bayley and Sasha Banks close to her heart as her wrestling inspirations.
Despite her young age, she has already gained experience wrestling across the United States, Japan, and Mexico. Stone also formed a tag team with Maya World called Spark the World, and together they became the inaugural ROW Women’s Tag Team Champions in the Texas-based promotion Reality of Wrestling, which is owned by Booker T and Sharmell.
Stone was signed with TNA last year, and is just getting her feet wet with the company. She is set to have an upcoming match against former TNA Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz.
