On the Feb. 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Penelope Ford had an injury during her tag team match with Megan Bayne. Known together as MegaBad, the team were challenging the AEW Women’s World Champions, Babes of Wrath. During the match, Ford executed a high-risk maneuver and landed awkwardly.
According to a quick report by Fightful Select, the trajectory of the match was then changed as Lena Kross caused a DQ and had Babes of Wrath retain.
The latest news of Ford’s injury has been reported. According to PWInsider, the fear was that Ford’s injury to her ankle last night was feared to be broken. She was checked out by medical and it is being said that it isn’t as severe as first feared.
In addition, Wrestling Observer is saying that Ford has suffered an ankle sprain and should be back soon.
