Dani Luna Says She Has Two To Three Title Shots In The Bank

TNA Knockout Dani Luna says she feels that she has a few title shots coming her way. Luna has been with TNA since 2023 and hasn’t been able to capture the top Knockouts World Title. She is a former two-time TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion with Jody Threat, who were known together as Spitfire.

Speaking to WhatCulture in a new interview, Luna said the following:

“I’m definitely working on it, I feel like I’ve earned that shot again and again now. So I reckon I’ve got two or three in the bank, to be honest. But first shot, I’m going to aim for Sacrifice. It’s the next big pay-per-view we’ve got coming up. I really like New Orleans, so I’d quite like to go, and yeah, I think it’s about time.” (Fightful/Transcript)

Luna was scheduled to face then-champion Lei Ying Lee for the title in January at Genesis. Unfortunately, Visa issues took that match away from Luna.

“Yeah, I mean, it was heartbreaking because obviously I felt like I put so much into… the build to that between, you know, the end of Spitfire to everything I did with Indi Hartwell to then turning that towards Lei Ying Lee. It felt like the rug was very much pulled from under my feet. But I do like to think I’ve kept hold of some of that momentum and it’s all about just rallying it and keeping it going up to getting it back now. It was a whole different champion. I’ve got to get a whole different game plan. But ultimately, I think, I win at the end, so i think it’s okay.” (Fightful/Transcript)

NXT’s Arianna Grace is the current Knockouts World Champion. Grace has successfully defended against Jody Threat and Indi Hartwell has since eyed up the title.
