WrestleMania 42 is less than a month away, and so far, only two women’s matches have been confirmed for the two-night event. The rumors have speculated we will get a total of five, possibly six women’s matches on the card. If it is six, that would be a record number of women’s matches for the Show of All Shows.
One of the matches heavily rumored would be Tiffany Stratton facing Giulia for the WWE Women’s United States Championship. While speaking on The Schmo, Stratton said the following.
“Yeah, I have heard those rumors, too, and I feel like they’re just rumors because I haven’t really been told anything that I’m on WrestleMania, but we’ll have to wait and see. I hope there’s a championship involved,” she said.
Of course Stratton wouldn’t spoil a match announcement when it hasn’t been made official yet, but WWE is known to put certain matches on the SmackDown prior to WrestleMania. The Women’s U.S. Title has also never been defended on a premium live event in its history.
