AJ Lee gets the win for the babyface team at this year’s WarGames. At Survivor Series, WarGames has become the main attraction for the past several years.
The highlight of this year’s match definitely goes to Lash Legend who was portrayed as the most character she is and was the last to enter the match. The heels dominated a good portion of the match, but the tides turned once Asuka missed the mist on Rhea Ripley and it landed in the face of her own teammate, Legend. It was Charlotte Flair who got Ripley out of the way of the mist.
IYO SKY went up top to perform her annual jump off the top of the structure with a trash can over her body. This took out all of the heels except Becky Lynch who watched in shock. As they make their way to the other ring, the babyface team narrows their target on Lynch. Flair and Ripley put the final touches on Lynch before Lee locked in the Widows Peak causing her to tap out.
Elsewhere, Nikki Bella had her best showing since returning to WWE. However, her best at this time wasn’t quite enough against Stephanie Vaquer who remains Women’s World Champion. Vaquer focused on the Devil’s Kiss twice to wear down Nikki, including one on the announce table. After hitting the Spiral Tap, Vaquer secured the win over the Hall of Famer.
Liv Morgan returned from injury. You can read on that here.
